Ryan's Journey
Ryan’s journey began working as a labourer for other flooring companies. He loved the work from day one and dedicated himself to learning every aspect of the trade, quickly progressing from labourer to leading projects himself.
Ryan has dyslexia, but rather than hold him back, it became the fuel that drove him forward. It gave him a determination to focus on what he does best: hands-on craftsmanship and perfecting his trade. In time, he took the leap to go self-employed, and as the business grew, he moved to a Limited company.
Over the years, Ryan has trained his brother-in-law and his own son, who have both become integral to the team and played a huge part in the business’s growth and success. With the support of his wife, the family opened their very own showroom in Tamworth, giving customers the chance to see, touch and choose their perfect flooring in person.
Where We Are Now
Today, RMD Flooring operates out of a fully stocked showroom at Buzzards Valley, Tamworth, open Monday to Saturday. Customers can browse flooring samples from our partner brands, get hands-on advice from the team, and leave confident they’ve made the right choice for their home.
Every project, from a single hallway to a full commercial fit-out, gets the same care and dedication. We treat your home like our own, and we don’t consider a job done until you’re in love with your floors.
